Finally, after a few days of being very productive outside of my teaching, I have assembled the Transformer for my Audi R8. So far, so good. I’m loving how everything worked out. There were some changes based on my sketch but those changes were for the better.If you’ve noticed I’ve changed the main color to red since the pale blue color does look kind of pale. I haven’t seen a red Autobot so I guess my Transformer that will now be named as “Odie” will be affiliated with the good guys. If you wonder why I chose that name, well, maybe you should see my related topics on what car I used for this transformer. Anyway, here are the renders.


So, the one day where in I went to school even if there were no classes due to a holiday, I decided to do some sketches. Based on the winner of the poll I made some time ago, I found it quite odd that the most awkward sketch of the Transformer actually won and looks good when done digitally.

I did some sketches for my Audi R8 Transformer head. I thought of sketching a lot of studies of the head first before I proceed with making the body. I’ve got to admit. I really liked this movie. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do now, but this movie is just a pure adrenaline rush from start to finish. Sure, the story may not be your unbelievable complex twist and turns like Dark Knight or dare I say it, X-men Origins: Wolverine, but I really think it was enough to keep me intrigued about the war between good and evil among gigantic robots from space. Mobile Suit Gundam has been around for 30 years and still it’s a household name in Japan. What started out as an Anime has become one of Japan’s best selling franchises when it comes to action figures and model kits. Last March, its latest series called “Gundam 00″ ended and it ended very well compared to most Animes and even other Gundam series.
Macross has been one of the biggest Anime franchises and so far, the last time I saw a Macross related Anime was when I was a kid. In fact, that was the first I felt a fever. I didn’t get sick because it was bad (I actually watch anything on TV back then), I just got sick of overwatching, or so I was told.
