Welcome to our “Frequently Asked Questions” page. This is where we answer our customer’s most frequently asked questions. As much as we’d like to answer our customer’s questions on the phone or by e-mail one by one, hopefully we could answer them here on our website as well.
So, let’s get started and start answering some questions!
Do you accept provincial clients?
Definitely, but of course there’s an additional fee depending on how far your location is. If it’s a plane ride away, we might need a little financial push to get there.
How many are you in the team?
Essentially, there are 4-5 of us in the roster. Myself and great people who love to make videos and rest assured they won’t be intrusive to the ceremonies. We will be like ninjas… without swords or any deadly weapons of course. Our only weapon is our passion to make sure your videos will look as good as possible.
Do we have to feed you?
It’s not a requirement but we’d highly appreciate it if you would. Aside from making great videos, our next favorite passion is eating. Take note though that any hungry person tends to perform less than a healthy little boy. So if we get really hungry and we have nothing to eat, our videos may not look as good. But don’t worry, we’ll make sure to bring our own bread crumbs.
Do you have any preferred style of video?
Since our motto is to “Capture Life in Every Frame”, we capture the moments, the intricate details of your event. From the preparations, the accessories, the tears, the laughter and the smiles we make sure to get it all. We are not too fond of the boring, traditional, and bland presentations others may offer. We shoot our videos as if we were like Photographers taking the perfect picture. We use our equipment not just for the sake of using them, but use them to deliver a beautiful video for your event.
What do you need during the event coverage?
All we ask is a small table and a little space where we could place our equipment that are not being used while shooting. A seat would also do for our crew member who will be in charge of looking after our equipment and for editing our same-day-edit videos.
If it’s possible we would love to have a gate pass for our equipment on the location at least a week before the event so that there would be no problems bringing our equipment to the location.
How do I lock a booking with you?
We use a “first pay, first served”. Whoever gets to give us a downpayment first gets to book with us for sure. Verbal agreements are seldom honored because sometimes people tend to back out on the last minute. So, if you’re definitely sure with us, please arrange a downpayment with us to lock the schedule.
Speaking of downpayment, how much? And what are your payment terms?
Usually, it’s a minimum of 20% downpayment. After, the downpayment, 70% of the total fee should be paid on the wedding day itself to accomodate the payments for some of our expenses during the shoot. Then the remaining 10% shall be paid upon receiving the final product.
Let’s talk about the music for the Music Video, who gets to pick that?
For the past years, we let our clients choose the song for the Music Video Highlights. Recently, we have decided that we will choose a song for you to approve. The tendency is most of the time, the chosen music doesn’t mold well with the event’s atmosphere and the shots we have taken. We always take into suggestion the song you prefer. So far, the songs we chose for our clients have made them happy. :
I seem to notice you now offer Same-Day Editing. But why don’t you have packages exclusively for it?
The reason we don’t offer Same-Day-Edit exclusive packages is because a lot of couples/parents/debutantes prefer to see the highlights right after the event so that even the entire reception will be included in the video. But actually, our packages can be easily converted into SDE packages. Just an additional Php 5,000 can be added to convert the Music Video Highlights into an SDE package. This applies to Photo-Video Packages as well.
What’s the difference between the Cinematic Edit and the Music Video Highlights?
Cinematic Edit is a shortfilm version of your event. It includes more footage and more music since it is longer. The Cinematic Edit usually runs from 15-30 minutes. As for the Music Video Highlights, it consists of one to two songs. It’s like a trailer for the cinematic edit but still contains the story of your event as a whole.
How about the Music Video Highlights and the Same-Day-Edit?
The Same-Day-Edit is actually the Music Video Highlights but is shown during the reception. It is edited on the day of the event itself.
