Archive for October, 2009
Hi guys! I’m happy to say that I have finally acquired my Canon Vixia HV40. What can I say about it? It’s awesome! I love all the controls and such. Most of all it’s HD and I can record in 24p! Let my video tell you how great the HV40 is. The clips were color corrected in Adobe Premiere. For a non-edited/color-corrected video visit Adam and Conner on youtube!
Anyway, here’s the video!
Telling the truth is really hard to do especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Some people when speaking of love and devotion tend to think too much about the fantastical terms like “soulmate” or “destiny” and if you ever choose to tell them that both things don’t exist, it’s like telling a 5 year old boy that there is no Santa Claus.
Well, since Thursday, I’ve been on a food binge and I haven’t eaten regularly due to the amount of parties both here at home and outside. Not that I’m complaining. I’m actually happy and less stressed about it. There seems to be a lot of celebrations this October or probably I know a lot of people who’s birthday is on October. Either way, I’m enjoying all this blessings right now. Everything seems to be in place.
Now if only that camera countdown could move a bit more faster.
Micro-blogging is my thing. Sometimes I don’t want to write too much or show too much unless necessary. That is why I have this site for those long entries. But for those short bursts of mind-blowing thoughts, Tumblr has solved my satisfaction for micro-blogging. The Wire is an addicting place to hangout and look for smart images or quotes and even beautiful artwork. My inspiration runs wild with Tumblr. It’s amazing and I’m having a blast.
So, if you have tumblr, just look me up and check out my Tumblr link here on my site. It’s updated most of the time.
I’ve been looking for a way to integrate both my wordpress site and my new tumblr account into one website. So I added a category for my Tumblr section and I’m very happy with it. I know it’s taking up so much space on my front page but that’s why I’m going to post some messages for it to turn up into the “next” page of entries. I’ll be updating my Tumblr a lot so I guess if you’re really interested in understanding my philosophies and principles, just check out my tumblr page here.
Welcome to my Tumblr page!

Me: “Umm, ok? What for.”
Client: “You know! You made the website on a Mac so you need to make another one on a PC for people who don’t use fancy computers like you.”

seriously. i have a feeling that this is MY year :D
Yeah, me too. Although, 2009 got me started a bit. The end of 2009 slapped me in the face and told me, “GET ON YOUR FEET AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE”.

- My first wedding video. I went with my cousin Chug Cadiogan... -
My first wedding video. I went with my cousin Chug Cadiogan (www.chugcadiogan.com) to shoot some footage for a wedding. Armed with my HV40 and my WD-H43 wide lens, I was pretty excited to see what more I can do with it.
It turns out that I have a long way to go when it comes to capturing events like these but I know I’ll get there. Now, I know what equipment I need and what I needed to do. I’m excited to shoot again. It looks like I’m getting somewhere with my HV40 and I really feel like it’s pointing towards the right direction. :)
The concept of this video is a more behind the scenes look of the wedding and the coverage itself. So, there are shots of the videographers and the photographers who covered the event.
Thanks to Chug Cadiogan for letting me shoot during the event. :)
