“The deal means Disney will take over ownership of 5,000 Marvel characters, such as Spider-Man and the X-Men.
Marvel shareholders will get $30 per share in cash plus 0.745 Disney shares for every Marvel share owned.
The boards of Disney and Marvel have both approved the deal, which now needs the backing of Marvel shareholders and competition authorities.”
I can’t believe this is happening. It’s like a surprise attack that isn’t even enjoyable. I think Disney does well and so does marvel but combining them both seems too weird for my tastes. Whether or not Disney will touch Marvel’s mature themes with comics, it still doesn’t seem to look good for both companies. So what do you think? Vote on the poll below! And don’t forget to leave your opinions after the polls!
Human beings are naturally selfish, greedy and deceitful when the need to survive comes. This is what District 9 seems to portray in such a unique style that feels so fresh and disturbing at the same time.
Dubbed as the Cloverfield rip-off or the “should-have-been-halo” film, District 9 is the most unique piece of cinema that I have seen for quite a long time. This makes the film the biggest surprise among all the summer blockbusters to come out this year. Directed by newcomer Neill Blomkamp and presented by Peter Jackson of LOTR fame, D-9 is a film that once again proves that you don’t need famous actors in order to produce a great film.
Well, here it is, a test animation of “Odie” the Audi R8 Transformer I’ve been working on for months. I can’t wait to insert him into live action. I’m planning to make a short video clip with Odie in it and I want it to have that Michael Bay feel just like in the movies. Anyway, enjoy watching this video which is also a compilation of everything about Odie the Audi R8 Transformer. ![]()
Finally, after a few days of being very productive outside of my teaching, I have assembled the Transformer for my Audi R8. So far, so good. I’m loving how everything worked out. There were some changes based on my sketch but those changes were for the better. If you’ve noticed I’ve changed the main color to red since the pale blue color does look kind of pale. I haven’t seen a red Autobot so I guess my Transformer that will now be named as “Odie” will be affiliated with the good guys. If you wonder why I chose that name, well, maybe you should see my related topics on what car I used for this transformer. Anyway, here are the renders.

The teaser trailer to James Cameron’s Avatar. His first film to come out after Titanic. What do you think?
Not often do I rant here in my blog and portfolio site but it seems this is very necessary. As you may notice, my website has changed it’s layout. It’s partly my fault why this happened, but the reason I had to fix my original layout was because it didn’t seem to open properly or at all in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
