Black Widow in Iron Man 2: First Pics

In case you didn’t know, Scarlett Johannson is Black Widow in the upcoming sequel for the 2008 smash hit Iron Man. Filming is almost wrapping up and this movie seems to be planning to be better than the first film in terms of action. With two rumored villains and the inclusion of Black Widow, this film has got to be more fun than the first one.

Along with Scarlett Johannson, the movie also stars Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell and Don Cheadle as the new Jim Rhodes. Robert Downey Jr. returns as the iconic Tony Stark with Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Pots, Tony Stark’s irresistable assistant.

Black Widow is a Russian superspy who has been part of the Avengers team every now and then. She is an expert martial artist and also an expert when it comes to handling firearms. She was once linked or has been in a relationship with Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil.

Seeing the new image of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow seems a little off right now since Scarlett has always been for me an All-American beauty. Her features seem too American for my taste and I still don’t feel that vibe of her being a Russian superspy. Hopefully, she could pull it off and not ruin my interest for the sequel to the great Iron Man film.
